My favorite thing about working at Lakewood is the unique and rewarding relationships with all the staff, families, and of course, residents. As the Executive Director, I have the honor of guiding all community operations to ensure we are providing our beloved residents a safe, loving, and warm environment that they can be proud to call home. I direct and coordinate the operations of the community in a way that fosters a collaborative team of department heads and employees which understands and promotes its shared responsibilities, passions, and commitment to honor the process of aging.

What I enjoy most about my role here at Lakewood is that I have the opportunity to help families and their loved ones in that moment of need, whether it be medical or emotional. I am responsible for managing the overall operation of the Health Services Department. It is my priority to ensure quality standards are being met for the health and well-being of our residents.

HEALTH SERVICES COORDINATOR

My passion for caregiving started with my grandmother who I supported as her primary carer. It naturally carried on from there, as I found myself in various caregiving roles. I loved the overall warmth and friendliness of the Lakewood community and knew I wanted to be a part of it. My role is to assist the Health Services Director with administrative tasks and assist our residents with a variety of needed services.

I process payroll, communicate with HR, orient our new hires and more. You can find me at the front desk most days. I will try and assist you anyway I can. We have such a great and positive culture here. When I come to work, I enjoy seeing the families, spending time with the residents, and engaging with the staff.

Being in senior living for over 15 years, the thing that keeps me here is the residents. I enjoy being able to make them smile and provide them with a variety of culinary creations. Food is one thing that brings people together. It is an honor and privilege to be a part of the Lakewood community and I can’t wait to show my passion for cooking to you all.

MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR

I enjoy the relationships that I have the opportunity to build with our residents. My role here at Lakewood is to oversee the housekeeping and laundry department, as well as manage any maintenance issues that may come up in your loved one’s suite. Please fill out any maintenance requests on the slips outside of my office door. I am happy to help.

My role here is the plan activities that engage residents in the pillars of wellness and make our days fun. What I like best about working at Lakewood is the bonds I create with the residents. They are some of the most meaningful relationships to me. I love the sense of community and being able to work in a place where it doesn’t always feel like work.
